Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 8 oz semi-sweet chocolate
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 4 large eggs
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Powdered sugar, for dusting
- Vanilla ice cream, for serving (optional)

Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Grease 4 individual ramekins with butter and dust with flour, tapping out any excess.

2. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter and chocolate over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth. Remove from heat and let it cool for a few minutes.

3. In a large bowl, whisk together the sugar, flour, and salt. Add the eggs one at a time, whisking well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

4. Gradually pour the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture, stirring until well combined.

5. Divide the batter evenly among the prepared ramekins. Place the ramekins on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 12-14 minutes, or until the edges are set but the center is still soft.

6. Remove the ramekins from the oven and let them cool for a minute. Then, run a knife around the edges of the cakes to loosen them. Invert the ramekins onto serving plates and gently tap to release the cakes.

7. Dust the tops of the cakes with powdered sugar and serve immediately with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, if desired.
