Easy Chocolate Lava cake MZ Marketing



 Ingredients:

- 4 oz (115g) good quality dark chocolate

- 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter

- 1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar

- 2 large eggs

- 2 large egg yolks

- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

- 1/4 cup (30g) all-purpose flour

- Pinch of salt

- Optional: powdered sugar and fresh berries for garnish

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Grease four 6-ounce ramekins and place them on a baking sheet.

2. In a heatproof bowl, melt the chocolate and butter together over a double boiler or in the microwave, stirring occasionally until smooth. Set aside to cool slightly.

3. In a separate bowl, whisk the sugar, eggs, egg yolks, and vanilla extract until well combined.

4. Gradually pour the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture, whisking constantly until smooth.

5. Sift the flour and salt into the chocolate mixture and gently fold until just combined.

6. Divide the batter evenly among the prepared ramekins. Place the baking sheet with the ramekins in the preheated oven and bake for 12-14 minutes, or until the edges are set but the center is still soft.


7. Remove the ramekins from the oven and let them cool for 1-2 minutes. Run a knife around the edges of the cakes to loosen them, then carefully invert the ramekins onto serving plates. The cakes should release easily.

8. Dust the tops of the cakes with powdered sugar and garnish with fresh berries, if desired. Serve immediately while the centers are still molten.
